“Had a wonderful time in San Ignacio …. The folks at Midas were great. Very friendly and accommodating. They were able to provide us with excellent information about the town, eating, shopping, etc. …….. put us in contact with a fantastic local guide, who toured us around. We stayed in a cabana/cabin, accommodation was clean, basic and efficient – 2 double beds, private bathroom with hot water and fan. Location of Midas is also great. It’s a 10 minute walk to downtown. All in all a great place to spend a few days”.

We loved this quiet resort! To wake up with the sounds of birds was very appreciated. The place is very clean and the people here gave us all the information we needed to have a real good time in San Ignacio. We took a tour to Caracol, Big Rock and Rio on Pools and Rio Frio Cave ………… We recommend the Resort and the tour to everyone.

Midas is a truly fantastic place! Quiet and peaceful, you can hide away on the porch of your cabin – and when that gets a bit too much you can hurl yourself down the river on an inner-tube or play at being Indiana Jones in some truly awesome caves! The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, a service home away from home, you will feel welcome immediately. Thank you for a great stay! We’ll be back!
